Outdoor Elopements: Pinkstar Photography
Summer is wedding season, at least it is normally. COVID-19 has changed a lot of things, including nuptials. These days, more engaged couples are canceling their big day in favor of something smaller, often outdoors, with a handful of attendees.
The nature of elopement is evolving. What used to mean a wedding held in secret, often at a government building, now encompasses small planned events.
Couples want to get married quickly as the Government eases up on stay-at-home orders, knowing restrictions could be put back in place if the pandemic worsens.
Last week we were so happy to photograph the Wedding of Stephanie & Morgan at Farm Fresh Florals.https://www.farmfreshflorals.com/garden-elopement. They were officially the second couple to be wed there this year. Our mutual friend and award winning wedding planner Chelsea Lawrie helped put this beautiful wedding together.
Jen, the chief flower farmer was the most gracious host and has a keen eye for styling this abundant beautiful land. She also hand picked Stephanie’s beautiful bouquet. Another perk of getting married at Farm Fresh Florals.
Our wonderful Wedding officiant was Joanne Van Beek, who loves to tie in your love story with your ceremony. Her style is to include everyone and to set a couple forward with the tools and words for success.
We were there to capture, the ceremony, the love, the family and the promise set forth. And although there was no stormy clouds for this storm chasing family, we were able to catch lots of emotion and blue sunny skies on a perfect wedding day.
Congratulations To Morgan, Stephanie and Jonah on your Wedding Day. Thank you for choosing Pinkstar Photography to capture your outdoor elopement.
